Bright Star and the Midnight Mauler - Epilogue

It took a good half hour for the police to show up, but Bright Star was grateful for the time. It allowed her to recover from the short but intense fight. So when they arrived to record her account, they were greeted by the cool confident woman they had come to know as Bright Star. The Mauler was dragged into a van and taken to local hospital for his burns, but his chances seemed slim. The cities heroines could rest a little easier with villain out of action, and for Bright Star it was another proud moment and another newspaper headline.
